Amanda Chmela, soprano received her BFA in Musical Theatre from SUNY Fredonia and her MM in Opera Performance from Binghamton University. She is a member of NATS, NYSTA, NAfME, The Voice Foundation, and is Certified in Somatic Voicework™, The LoVetri Method. Ms. Chmela is on the voice faculty at LIU C.W. Post within their Fine and Performing Arts Department and served on voice faculty at Rider University from 2014-2018. She also maintains a private voice studio on Long Island where she specializes in teaching Contemporary Commercial Music with a strong focus on musical theatre and pop/rock styles.  Ms. Chmela has participated in the Westchester Summer Vocal Institute and is an alumnus of Tri-Cities Opera’s Resident Artist Training Program. She has been the female vocalist for the Savoy Swing Band since August of 2013. Alexa Rosenberg is a mezzo-soprano born and raised in NYC. She has enjoyed performing music ranging from Monteverdi to world premieres. Alexa is excited to jump in last minute as the comedic Bertha. She will sing Mercedes and cover Carmen in Hawai’i Performing Arts Festival’s upcoming production of La tragédie de Carmen. She will also participate at SongFest 2019. Roles include Nicklausse, Hänsel, Bradamante in Alcina, the "Mezzo" of Hydrogen Jukebox, and Arnalta in L’incoronazione di Poppea. She also has appeared as The Ghost of Christmas Past in Amore Opera’s Scrooge and Gilbert and Sullivan as well as a Spirit in Utopia Opera’s Cendrillon. Alexa has also studied acting at Stella Adler. From her time at Stella Adler, Alexa developed a passion for outreach in the arts. She ran an Opera Workshop and Appreciation course in a NYC jail, and is in the process of establishing her own non-profit to continue that line of work.

Alexander Sheerin : Tenor

Alexander Sheerin, tenor, is based in New York, and has been performing both locally and internationally for the past several years. He has been a young artist with festivals such as Brevard Music Center, Opera in the Ozarks, and AIMS in Graz. Mr. Sheerin has performed a wide variety of roles in the operatic repertoire including Albert Herring, Francis Flute in a Midsummer Night's Dream, Don Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro, Prunier in La Rondine, Guillot in Manon and Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte. Alexander holds a masters degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Houston, and a bachelors degree in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory. Also an up and coming stage director, he recently directed the Gilbert and Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island’s recent production of Patience. This fall, Mr. Sheerin will be pursuing an advanced degree in Opera Production and Directing at the Florida State University.

Alexandra Lang : Soprano

Described as "a superb singing actress," soprano Alexandra Lang is rapidly gaining recognition for her musical integrity, distinct vocal color and versatility. A native of Atlanta, she currently resides in New York City. Her first Ariadne with New York’s Utopia Opera was described as “satisfyingly lush to the ears.” She has enjoyed performances at the Metropolitan Opera Guild, the Boston Public Library, The Great Hall at Faneuil Hall, Fenway Park, Jordan Hall, the Dimenna Center for Classical Music, Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center, and Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall. Recent operatic roles include: the title role in Anna Bolena, Leonore (Fidelio), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Chrysothemis (Elektra), and the title role in Ariadne auf Naxos. Upcoming performances this season include a concert with Manhattan Opera Association and Ms. Lang's second Donizetti Queen, the title role in Maria Stuarda in January.

Angelica Burton : Soprano

Angelica Burton is a coloratura soprano and Northport native who has been performing around the New York City area as a vocalist and instrumentalist from a young age. She is a first-time Opera Night performer and thrilled to be performing in her home town. Focused on early music, she can be found as both a featured soloist and ensemble member in groups specializing in European Renaissance and Reformation choral works. She has been featured in operatic works and oratorios by Monteverdi, Purcell, and Handel, as well as performing extensively as a soprano soloist and ensemble member in motets such as Gregorio Allegri’s Miserere Mei and pieces from the Eton Choir Book. In addition to privately tutoring in piano and harp, she can be seen performing with NYC’s Polyhymnia under the direction of John Bradley; Music for Life International; and the Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale. She is also passionate about music education and works to help Long Island undergraduate music students obtain scholarships. She has a bachelors degree from Ithaca College and a masters in French Studies from New York University.

Ariana Warren, mezzo-soprano, is a Northport native currently pursuing her Master of Music in Opera Performance at Arizona State University. She also received a dual Bachelors degree in Voice Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College.  Her previous credits include the U.S. and orchestral premiere of Flack/Fowler’s Behold the Man (Cecilia), Carmen (Carmen), The Fairy Queen (Helena), Les Mamelles de Tirésias (La Dame Élégante), Semele (Ino), Little Women (Jo) and L’étoile (Aloès). Ms. Warren made her Lincoln Center debut in 2016 as a soloist with the Ithaca College Choir and was an apprentice artist with Opera Ithaca for their 2016-17 season.

Bruce Marc Solomon : Tenor

The vivacious and dynamic tenor, Bruce Solomon, began his formal training, in his teens at the Juilliard School PreCollege division. He continued on to Queens College and then onto Manhattan School of Music. Through disciplined study and deep-rooted passion, he performed at the Amato Opera in New York City and became an ap- prentice at The Lake George Opera Festival. He came in first place in the Young American Artist Contest and performed on WNYC radio. This gave him the traction to perform at some of the world’s best concert halls; including, but not limited to, Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. In addition, he also performs in regular solo recitals in churches, synagogues, and beautiful venues throughout the USA. Currently, Bruce is an honorary citizen of The State Of The Opera Company - an online opera company ran by internationally renowned coach, Sara Gamarro. He has a wonderful wife, daughter, and three cats that support him every step of the way. Bruce passed on his love of music to his daughter, Salina Sol- omon, who is currently a singer/songwriter -- living in Nashville, TN with a very successful career.

Daniel Chiu, baritone, is a 2018 graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelors Degree in Applied Classical Voice. Daniel resides in Suffolk County, NY and is a voice student of Kent Smith, Professor at SUNY New Paltz. In the summer of 2018, Mr. Chiu performed the role of Aeneas in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas with the American College of Thessaloniki's International Summer Music Program in Thessaloniki, Greece. During the summer of 2017, Mr. Chiu was accepted into the international program, OperaVision, in Busseto, Italy; directed by Metropolitan Opera soprano, Aprile Millo. Upcoming engagements include performances with the New Paltz Community Chorale in their Spring Concert and also the role of Eisenstein from Johann Strauss’s Die Fledermaus with the American College of Thessaloniki. In the fall of 2019, Mr. Chiu will be attending the Manhattan School of Music for his Master in Opera/Voice and was awarded a $25,000.00 scholarship.

Soprano Darlene Bennett is building a reputation as a talented musician and inspirational performer. From opera to concerts and recitals, Darlene continues to touch audiences with her vocal beauty and musical artistry in a career that spans over 20 years. In the 2018 - 2019 season, Darlene was heard singing with the New York Lyric Opera in the role of La Fèe in Massenet's Cendrillon (Oct '18) and as Donna Anna in the Quartet from Don Giovanni (May '18) (NYC). Darlene joined Opera Night Long Island for concerts in August and November ‘18 and appeared in several concerts as part of Sherrill Milnes' Voice Studio program Opera as Drama in March 2019 (NYC). Future engagements include Countess Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro at Geneva Light Opera (July ‘19) and Mother Jeanne in Dialogues of the Carmelites with the Savannah Voice Festival (Aug ‘19). He sang under the baton of Edwin McArthur with St. Paul Opera Company and with Laszlo Halasz and the Long Island Opera Company. Versatile in drama or comedy, Erica has portrayed Zulma in L’Italiana in Algeri, Carmen in La Tragédie de Carmen (Bizet/Brooke), and Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart). Other roles include Cecilia March and Alma March in Little Women (Adamo), Madame de Croissy in Les Dialogues des Carmélites (Poulenc), Tessa in The Gondoliers (Gilbert & Sullivan), Flora in La Traviata (Verdi), Tisbe in Cenerentola (Rossini), and Third Lady in Die Zaubeflöte (Mozart). Called “Wonderfully manic” by Patrick James Clement, of Parterre, Eowyn Driscoll is rapidly making a name for herself as an interpreter of the contralto and mezzo soprano repertoire. Her unique instrument, extended range, and intellectual curiosity give her the flexibility to choose music ranging from Bach and Handel to Verdi and Wagner. Eowyn began her 2017 - 2018 season with Azucena in Il trovatore with the West Side Opera Society. She was previously seen as Klytämnestra in Create Opera’s black box production of Elektra directed by Marc Verzatt, and Filipievna with Hudson Opera Theater in November 2016. She has also appeared as The Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas with the Christman Opera Company, Gertrud in Hansel and Gretel with Amore Opera, Filipievna in Eugene Onegin with New York Opera Theater, and La Badessa in Suor Angelica with Golden Rose Opera Works and Opera Northport. In 2015, Eowyn made her debut as Maddalena in Rigoletto with the West Side Opera Society, and sang two all-Bach concerts which included selections from the B-Minor Mass, St. Matthew’s Passion and Bach BWV 35 “Geist und Seele”. Eowyn was a 2014 finalist in the Ensemble 212 Young Artist competition, singing Beethoven’s Concert Aria “Ah! Perfido” and has previously performed the role of Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) with the Woodstock Chamber Orchestra. Other roles include Dryade (Ariadne auf Naxos), Ottavia (The Coronation of Poppaea), Flosshilde (Das Rheingold), Mamma Lucia (Cavalleria Rusticana) and La Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica). She regularly performs on concerts with the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance and has an interest in non-traditional performances, and re-imagining unexpected spaces as performance venues.

In last summer, He returned to Manhattan Opera Studio as Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, as Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro and also made his dell’Arte Opera Ensemble debut as Gamekeeper in Příhody lišky Bystroušky (The Cunning Little Vixen). In 2017 – 2018 season, He appeared as the title role in Macbeth with Empire Opera and Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with Vocal productions NYC. Hailed as an “inspired” and “versatile” singer, Jessica Stolte Bender has been performing throughout the Long Island/New York Metro area for the past 17 years. Ms. Bender is a recurring artist of Opera Night, Long Island and has given several performances with Music on the Sound. Jessica made her Carnegie Hall debut with New York Lyric Opera Theatre in November, 2012. Other operatic performances include roles in Dido and Aeneas, Le nozze di Figaro, and Die Zauberflöte. Musical theatre credits include roles in Into the Woods, The Sound of Music, Pippin, A Chorus Line, Fiddler on the Roof, The Pajama Game, and The Boyfriend in addition to cabaret and review style shows. In 2011 she completed a Master of Arts in Voice Performance at The Aaron Copland School of Music, CUNY Queens.

Bass-baritone Jonathan Z. Harris is a native New Orleanian opera singer, recitalist, and actor based in New York City. His operatic interpretations have been hailed as “superb” (The Chautauquan Daily) and “sensational” (Voce di Meche), and of a return engagement with the Opera Company of Middlebury, the Rutland Herald declared that Jonathan “nearly stole the show with his hilarious and beautifully sung Papageno.” Jonathan is a two-time Regional Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. He has previously been an Apprentice Artist with Sarasota Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Opera Saratoga, and Chautauqua Opera and has also sung with Opera Company of Middlebury, Opera MODO, PORTopera (now Opera Maine), Bronx Opera, Dicapo Opera, and dell’Arte Opera Ensemble. A 1st prize winner of NJ Verismo Opera's 2014 Vocal Competition, and an encouragement award winner in the 2015 & 2017 Giulio Gari International Vocal Competition, tenor Jose Heredia has sung the lead tenor roles in La boheme, Rigoletto, Carmen, La traviata, Un ballo in Maschera, L’elisir d’amore, Aida and Tosca, with Companies like Amore Opera, Regina Opera, NJ Verismo Opera, dell'arte Opera Ensemble, NY Lyric Opera Theater, Bravo Opera Alliance, and the Long Island Lyric Opera.  Mr. Heredia has toured the US, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Italy, and South Korea, where he sang over 34 concerts, some of which were aired on NBC Korea. He will be performing the role of "Alfredo" in Verdi's La Traviata at the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo, DR, in April 2019.

Katrin Bulke, as a proud graduate of Mozartum in Salzburg (Austria), has worked under supervision of masters such as Helmut Deutsch, Andreas Macco, Carmela Altamura and Valentin Peychinov. Miss Bulke is quickly establishing herself as a strong and talented Soprano in the world of opera and operetta. The popularity of her voice and her thrilling operatic performance brought her the audience award, by land slide, in the Caruso Competition in October 28th 2017 in NYC and the Grand Prix at the Concert Festival International Competition in January 2018. Since her arrival to NYC in 2016, Miss Bulke has presented strong performances with ten different stage companies in roles such as: Rosina in Rossini´s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Frasquita in Bizet´s Carmen, Queen Elizabeth in Donizetti´s Roberto Devereux, Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Amina in Bellini’s La Sonnambula, Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Blonde in Mozart’s The adduction of the Serail and Queen of the night in Mozart’s Zauberflöte (Carnegie Hall). Keith Milkie is an American baritone. Keith is a graduate of the William Esper conservatory for acting in New York City. He has appeared as a soloist at Xankel and Weill hall at Carnegie Hall and has performed with the Regina Opera Company, The Italian Opera Company, and The Long Island Opera Company, and with Vocal Productions NYC. Keith has performed the roles of Don Giovanni and Dr. Bartolo. In 2016 Keith worked with director and photographer Bruce Webber to create the music for Versace’s spring ad campaign and also performed his selections inside the Versace Garden. In early 2018 Keith toured China performing popular music and also working with Chinese sports brand FFF on their 2018 campaign.

He is swiftly building his reputation as an accomplished young bass bringing an ‘exciting,’ 'rich,' and 'burly' sound to the stage. Kofi’s major opera roles have included: La Roche in Strauss' Capriccio, Raimondo in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Sarastro in The Magic Flute(performed at Lincoln Center), Rodolfo in La Sonnambula, Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, Sparafucile in Rigoletto, and Baltassare in La Favorita. He also recently made his preliminary Carnegie Hall debut singing at Weill Recital Hall. She was an advanced artist at Operaworks, and a participant in: Prague Summer Nights, the International Music Academy of Nice and Florence Vocal Seminar. Mezzo-soprano Leslie Ratner has performed a handful of operatic roles, including Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro, Kate in Pirates of Penzance, Vera Boronel in the Consul, Resident Physician in the world premiere of Breath of Life, and Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti. Last summer, she sang the role of La Suora Zalatrice in Suor Angelica at International Vocal Arts Institute (IVAI) under the baton of the Metropolitan Opera’s Paul Nadler. Other organizations she has worked with include Opera Breve, Harrower Opera, and Western New York Chamber Orchestra. In December 2015 Leslie appeared as a soloist in Handel’s Messiah with Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and sang under this organization’s Maestro David Cho again in November 2016 as Madame Giry in Phantom of the Opera. This August, Leslie will study with renowned teachers, coaches, and directors at the Milnes VOICE Studio in Savannah, GA. She currently studies with Beth Roberts. A native of Long Island New York, Leslie holds a Bachelor of Music degree from SUNY Fredonia and a Master of Music from Texas Tech University.

Soprano Linda Teixeira is thrilled to be performing with Opera Night Long Island. Most recently, Ms. Teixeira performed at Carnegie Hall with Essential Voices USA and the New York Pops, and was a semi-finalist in the Mario Lanza/Elaine Malbin Competition. Linda has toured the Tri-state area with Xavier Company in original musicals, playing the roles of Mary Magdalene in “No Greater Love” and Elizabeth in “Advent Carol.” In Dicapo’s production of The Saint of Bleecker Street, The New York Times hailed Linda for her “important” contribution to the work as the role of Maria Corona. Other notable roles include Despina in dell’Arte Opera’s production of Cosi Fan Tutte, Pousette in dell’Arte Opera’s production of Manon, The First Lady in The Magic Flute at the Amalfi Coast Music Festival, Suor Genovieffa with the New York Metro Vocal Arts Ensemble. Ms. Teixeira is actively pursuing a Masters degree in Music Education at Queens College. She lives in Astoria, NY with her husband, and their new baby Henry.

Mary DeMarco Lee, soprano, joined the Opera Night roster in May 2012. Mary’s professional credits include many leading roles with various companies in New York City and the region, including, with the Amato Opera: Musetta in La Boheme, Micaela in Carmen, Nedda in Pagliacci, Antonia in Les Contes D’Hoffman, and Gennariello in (Gomes’) Salvator Rosa (U.S. premiere). Mary twice was a Finalist in, and once was a winner of, the Amato Opera Competition. She performed the leading role of Celie in (Pasatieri’s) Signor Deluso for the C. W. Post Summer Opera Festival at the Tilles Center. Mary also has performed many ingénue roles in Operetta and Musical Comedy including Yum Yum in the Mikado with the Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island, Cunegonde in Candide and Julie in Carousel at the Carousel Music Theater, and Laurey in Oklahoma and Jenny in Company at the Thomaston Opera House. She is a graduate of the Purchase College Conservatory of Music Voice and Opera Studies Program, where she performed her first leading opera role, Susanna in the Marriage of Figaro.

This July, Ms. O’Neill will perform at the soundSCAPE festival, a Composition and Performer exchange in Cesena, Italy, and this August, she will also be performing the role of Nerone in L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Berlin Opera Academy. She recently perfomed Schoenberg's "Das Buch der Hängenden Gärten" at Westminister Choir College and premiered Kyrie MacIntosh’s “Songs of Ariel” at The Juilliard School. Past Operatic Performances include The Old Lady in Candide with The Orchestra Now under the baton of James Bagwell, as well as the role of Eduige in Handel’s Rodelinda, conducted by Nicholas Gilmore. Max Avery Vitagliano is a lyric tenor hailing from Levittown, New York. He recently received a Master's in Opera from Temple University and also holds a Bachelor's in Music Education from LIU Post. Max's most recent roles was of those of the operas he was in while attending Temple University, such as Anfinomo from Monteverdi's Il Ritorno d'Ulisse in Patria, the lead role of the Sailor in Milhaud's Le pauvre matelot and The Psychologist in the U.S. Premiere of Zack Seffel's abstract and fascinating modern opera, Pacamambo. He has also performed with companies such as the Bronx Opera Company, with roles such as Dr. Caius from Verdi's Falstaff, and the New York Opera Theater, having performed as Almeric from Tchaikovsky's Iolanta. Having just returned to New York having completed his Master's, Max is excited to see what opportunities await him on his path into what he hopes will be a fulfilling career in opera and is ecstatic to have the chance to sing again with Opera Night Long Island.

Melissa Block is a mezzo-soprano from Commack, New York. She has a Bachelors of Music in Voice, a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish and a Master of Music in Voice from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where Melissa sang many roles, including Hansel, Barbarina, and Cenerentola. In the 2010-2011 season, Melissa sang the roles of Hansel, Cherubino and Dorabella in New York Lyric Opera Theater. She was a Professional Fellow for the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival 2012 where she made her professional debut as Third Lady. In October 2012, Melissa sang the NY premiere of Ofer Ben-Amot’s Songs from the Pomegranate Garden with the Metro Chamber Orchestra. She kicked off the 2013 season as Zaracchia in the world premiere of Giuseppe Lupis’s Il Pianista Disgraziato with Apollo Opera in Bronx, NY. In June 2013, Melissa debuted the role of Sarah/Leonora in Libby Moyer’s Not a Tenor and sang the role of Lady Angela in Gilbert & Sullivan’s Patience with the Camp Hill Light Opera Festival, Mechanicsburg, PA. Currently, Melissa performs at various freelance venues across Long Island. She recently performed as a guest artist for Stony Brook University’s Guido Gozzano conference on Italian poetry. Recent appearances include Riccardo Percy in Westside Opera Society's production of Anna Bolena, Antonio in the North American premiere of Donizetti's La Zingara with Amore Opera and the cover of Gvidon in New Opera NYC's recently acclaimed production of  Золотой петушок (The Golden Cockerel) . Upcoming performances include Don José in Opera Breve's production of Carmen, Tony in Garden State Opera’s reprised production of Santelli’s Il consulente matrimoniale, and scenes from Simonetta, a new opera by Larry Lipkis, with the Litha Symphony Orchestra.

A native of Appleton, Wisconsin, she is recognized for her “clear, beautiful voice” and “winning naturalness.” Her performances are praised as “unforgettable,” “exquisite,” and “world-class.”  Ms. Seipel’s various credits include a critically acclaimed performance of Lucia in Opera Vivente’s English Lucia di Lammermoor, Despina in St. Petersburg Opera’s Così fan tutte, and Livietta in an innovative, bilingual production of Pergolesi’s Livietta e Tracollo. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including awards from the Wisconsin District Metropolitan Opera Auditions and the Shreveport Opera Singer of the Year Competition. Soprano Rachel Hippert has recently performed in Carmen (Micaëla) and Die Fledermaus (Rosalinda) with Amore Opera Company, Aida (High Priestess) with the New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors (Mother) with the Brooklyn Philharmonia Chorus, and Idomeneo (Elettra) with the Opera Company of Brooklyn. Ongoing projects include performing in partnership with the world peace organization Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) for various events in NYC, acting as a goodwill ambassador and associate artist with We Care for Humanity (WHC), and singing as a staple performer with the Opera Collective, part of the Music Under New York organization. Baritone Roberto Borgatti’s ascent on the opera scene was anything but traditional. As a professional golf instructor, he could be heard singing “Verdi “ on the greens, conducting clinics to professional organizations and teaching professionals around the world.  With a “voice that thrills” and a “captivating stage presence”, Borgatti has proven a favorite for NYC opera audiences.  In 2014 Borgatti sang his first lead role in La Traviata (Germont) in New York City to rave reviews — “Impressive …a role he was born to sing… finely attuned to the Italian language and phrasing…substantial voice, great technique and dramatic chops to match.”  Displaying his versatility the following year as the extroverted, flashy Escamillo in Carmen with Opera New York. He received high praise critic Marc Miller — “Baritone Roberto Borgatti’s “Toreador Song” is really spectacular, with Borgatti simultaneously honoring and sending up Escamillo’s swagger.”  Borgatti credits his success to mentors that includes his great uncle, the late baritone Giuseppe Valdengo. Roberto studies voice with former Metropolitan Opera baritone Mark Oswald, and has worked with Jason Stearns and David Pershall.  He coaches with conductor Peter Mark.

Samuel Varhan, tenor, has performed the Count in the Barber of Seville, Don Ottavio in in Don Giovanni, Elvino in La Sonnambula, Romeo in Romeo et Juliette, Fernand in La Favorita, Don Ramiro in Cenerentola, Faust in Gounod's Faust, The Duke in Rigoletto, Tenor soloist in Mozart's Requiem, Arturo in Lucia di Lamermoor, Four Servants in Tales of Hoffmann. Samuel prides himself on having sung the complete uncut version of Rossini’s Barber of Seville, including both arias and appendix. This season Mr. Varhan makes his debut in Le Fille du Régiment.

Graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Music and Certificate in Vocal Performance in 2016, Stephanie has sung staged roles with Amore Opera, New York Lyric Opera Theatre, the Princeton Opera Theatre, and sung solo concert repertoire with the Riverside Opera Company, and Sussex County Youth Orchestra and most recently, with the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra. She has been applauded by Parterre Music Box Reviews for her “standout” performance as Frasquita in George Bizet's Carmen with Amore Opera, and has also sung Susanna/Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Anna (Tobias and the Angel), Berta (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Fortuna/Venere (L’incoronazione di Poppea), and Amelia (Amelia Goes to the Ball). Stephanie has composed, conducted, and stage directed and original opera titled OMG in Princeton, NJ and off-Broadway in NYC, and assistant stage directed with Amore Opera. Roles include: Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare), Hélène (Hin und Zurück), Electra (Idomeneo), the title role and Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), The Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors), The Frog (The Cunning Little Vixen), Adina (L’Elisir d’amore), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Nedda (I Pagliacci), Mimi (La bohème), and Woglinde (Götterdämmerung).  Theresa has sung with Washington East Opera, Knoxville Opera, the Rossini Festival, Spokane Symphony, Mid-Columbia Symphony, Eastern Washington University Orchestra, & UT Symphony Orchestra, and in such venues as Carnegie Hall and Symphony Space. Ms. Dunigan was named a semi-finalist in the 2013 Meistersinger competition in Austria and appeared as a featured solo artist with the American Institute of Musical Studies Festival Orchestra. Ms. Dunigan received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado, Boulder. We are privileged to have such a seasoned veteran of Opera as an intern of Opera Night, Long Island.

Thomas Killourhy is a 28-year-old Tenor from Smithtown, Long Island, currently pursuing a D.M.A in Voice at Stony Brook University under the tutelage of internationally acclaimed Soprano, Brenda Harris. Thomas has most recently been seen on the stage of the Staller Center singing the role of Aeneas in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with Stony Brook Opera. Thomas has recently completed a Master’s in Voice at the Mannes School of Music, where he studied with world-renowned voice teacher, Arthur Levy. While at Mannes Thomas sang (in part) the roles of Cavaradossi, Lenny, Pollione, Idomeneo, Father Grenville and Don Jose with Mannes Opera. He has also partially performed the roles of Des Grieux, Turridu, and Luigi under the baton of Metropolitan Opera Assistant Conductor, Joshua Greene. Ms. Isernia is a recent graduate of The Manhattan School of Music where she studied under the tutelage of Maitland Peters earning her BM in Vocal Performance. Her opera credits include Dido & Aeneas (Dido) and L’incoronazione di Poppea (Nerone) both under the direction of world renowned Soprano Catherine Malfitano, Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen (Forrester’s Wife) and most recently The Mikado (Pitti-Sing) with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival. Other scene work includes Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro and Woodsprite#3 in Rusalka. In 2013 she made her Lincoln Center debut under the baton of Maestro Alan Gilbert in the choir of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony along with the NY Philharmonic. Russian-American mezzo-soprano Viktoriya ‘Vita’ Koreneva’s mesmerizing stage presence and rich, distinctive voice make her the “emotional heartthrob” of the lyric stage. Moving effortlessly between comic and serious, masculine and feminine roles, she has been lauded for her “extraordinarily beautiful voice” and “vulnerable heart on sleeve performances”. Her operatic credits span the major works by G. Donizetti, V. Bellini, W.A. Mozart, J. Massenet, and G. Verdi among others. Earlier this year, Ms. Koreneva achieved overwhelming success portraying the role of Lyubava in the US premier of N. Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sadko with Bel Cantanti Opera in Maryland. Vincenzo Fiorito is a Lyrical Tenor and student of the Evening Division at The Juilliard School. This past semester, Vincenzo has performed as a recitalist as (Fernando) in Cosi fan Tutte. Vincenzo resides in Queens, and studies with Dr. Robert C. White, Jr. Vincenzo Fiorito has appeared in principal with Gilbert and Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island for five seasons. To name a few, The Pirates of Penzance (Frederick), H.M.S. Pinafore (Strephon), and Patience or Bunthorne’s Bride (The Duke of Dunstable). Mr. Fiorito takes up private piano lessons with Valerie Grehan from Stony Brooke University, Ear training with Dr. Kevin Quill from the Juilliard School , vocal coaching with Mark Moorman from The Juilliard School , and mentoring from prolific record producer Thomas Z. Shepard and David Merrill. Fiorito honors his performances to deceased best friend, mentor , teacher , coach and Music angel, Lily Grehan, who started him on piano lessons and music theory four years ago. Vincenzo is also a motivated ensemble member with the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice where he has performed in Otello, La Boheme and Carmen.
